· Ink volume is low or empty
· Clogged nozzle
· Paper jams

If you are encountering above issues, we would like to provide you the best solutions that help in fixing them.

Ink volume is low or empty

First, we need to check the ink cartridges to confirm if we need to change the ink cartridges. Please check the ink cartridges with the following steps.
1.Open the printer driver, click the Maintenance tab.
2.Click the EPSON Status Monitor 3 button. Then there is a graphic displays the approximate ink levels.

3.If you see that the ink cartridge is low or empty on ink, then you probably need to replace the cartridges with the new ones.

In order to change the ink cartridges, please check the following steps.
1.Remove the package and remove the plastic tap.
(* To get better results, gently shake the new ink cartridge 4 to 5 times in one direction before you open the package)

2.Insert the ink cartridge and press it until it clicks.

Clogged nozzle

If you have cleaned the printheads with Epson software, but the printheads are still clogged. You may need to clean the printheads with cleaning liquid. Please learn the following steps.
1.Turn off your printer and tear a single sheet of paper and fold it lengthwise, then move the printhead over the paper towel.

2.Take the cleaning solution with a syringe, then connect syringe to printhead nozzles and inject cleaning fluid into each nozzle as needed.

3.Wipe the wet area and printhead and remove the paper towel. Leave the printhead stand until completely dry.

4.Now reinstall the ink cartridges and print the several pages and make sure that each of the ports is cleared.
(* Before you turn on the printer, please make sure that the printhead has returned to its ready position.)
