How to fix the skipping lines or missing lines issue for Epson printer
The skipping lines or missing lines issue is a general issue for Epson printer.
There are four reasons for this issue:
1.Nozzle clogged
2.The inaccurate orientation of the print head
3.Faulty print settings
4.Paper thickness settings are completely inappropriate
Here, we would like to provide you the solutions to solve this issue.
Clean the print head
· Open the control panel on the computer and go to the devices and printers.
· Select the Epson printer and right-click on the printing preferences.
· Go to the Maintenance tab and press the clean printhead button.
· Click the start button to clean the printhead.


Clean the electrical contacts
· Turn off the printer and disconnect it from the power source. Remove the ink cartridges.
* Caution: The nozzle plate should be facing up to avoid ink leaks.
· Search the electrical contacts. They’re copper-colored.

· Clean the electrical contacts with distilled water and lint-free cloth.

· Clean the electrical contacts of the ink cartridges in the same way.
· Leave the electrical stand until completely dry.
· Install the ink cartridges and start the printer.
Remove the black ink cartridge for a few hours
· Turn off the printer and remove the black ink cartridge form the printer for at least 2 hours.
· After a few hours, install the black cartridge and check if the printer can print normally.
